Saada Allaw
Legal Agenda
Saada Allaw is head of the Press Department at the Beirut Legal Agenda, and a researcher and specialist in human rights issues. She worked as a journalist for the Lebanese newspaper As-Safir from 1994 until its closure in 2017. During the last three years of the newspaper’s life, she assumed the position of head of the investigations department and contributed to writing page 1. She is also a lecturer of Health media at the Faculty of Mass Communication at the Lebanese University, and a lecturer of community journalism, and investigative and feature writing at the Faculty of Mass Communication at Ma'arif University in Lebanon. Allaw is also a trainer with local and international organizations on human rights journalism, investigative journalism, gender-based violence, and the rights of marginalized groups and domestic workers.
