Investigator at Bellingcat
Nick Waters is a senior investigator for Bellingcat and a former military officer, with experience in cyber threat intelligence and an MA in conflict, security and development from King’s College London. His work has focused on the application of open source techniques to the investigation of conflict, ranging from the use of drones by sub-state actors to chemical weapons in Syria. He is currently working on the systematic application of these techniques to track conflicts improve international accountability.
