"Madonna Khafaja is responsible for the MENA programs of the International Center for Journalists (ICFJ). She directs programs in the region and supervises a team of content creators and columnists in her work as editor of IJNet's website. In her academic career, Khafaja lectures at the College of Media and Arts at the University of Balamand and advises media organizations on developing business plans, revenue strategies, and design and digital content. She currently works with DW Academy as a speaker and trainer in Human Centered design.
Khafaja formerly worked as a documentary filmmaker for BBC Arabic in its offices in Egypt and Lebanon and as a managing editor for Raseef22."
