Lara joined ARIJ in October 2019, from the Jordan Times where she worked as an Editor. She has an MSc in Middle East Politics from SOAS, University of London and a BA (Hons) in English from Queen Mary University of London. At ARIJ, Lara is responsible for the English translation and editing of ARIJ's investigations, and works on data and research projects, the most recent of which was the FinCEN Files. She also writes pitches on ARIJ stories that suit international audiences for Mediabridge, and coordinates between the Arab journalist and the international news outlet interested in publishing their story.
