Lajla Camdzic
Lejla Camdzic joined the Organized Crime and Corruption Reporting Project in Sarajevo in 2011 and has become the organization’s premier researcher and lead fact checker. Her expertise includes researching offshore companies and finding the hidden assets of corruptpoliticians and top-level organized crime figures in the Balkans, in Eastern Europe and around the world. She has helped journalists in the developing world and in prominent western media uncover critical Information. She manages a research team behind the Investigative Dashboard as part of an international collaboration that helps reporters and civil society organizations research businesses and people and interpret records. She has been part of the OCCRP teams that produced the prize-winning projects Unholy Alliances, the Khadija Project, and the Panama Papers.
