ﺑﺪأ ﻣﺨﺘﺎر اﻟﺒﺮﻳﻢ ﻓﻲ اﻟﻌﻤﻞ ﻣﻊ أ رﻳﺞ ﺣﻮل اﻟﺘﻘﺎرﻳﺮ اﻟﺘﺤﻘﻴﻘﻴﺔ ﻗﺒﻞ ﺧﻤﺲ ﺳﻨﻮات. ومنذ ذلك الحين ، فاز بجوائز عن قصص حول مصادرة المنازل من قبل اللاجئين السوريين في الحرب وعن سوء معاملة الأطفال اليتامى. وقد درس في جامعة دمشق حيث حصل على درجة الماجستير في محو الأمية الإعلامية والمشاركة السياسية في العالم العربي. يعمل حالياً في مكتب أريج في عمان.
